Brandy Abreu is an experienced transactional attorney with more than seventeen years’ experience in real estate transactions. Ms. Abreu’s practice is focused on residential and commercial real estate closings, as well as real estate litigation matters. In addition, Ms. Abreu has experience representing private lenders in drafting and negotiating loan documents, and loan modifications.

Accomplishments

  • Served as local counsel in a successful initial public offering (IPO) for a Miami Beach-based FinTech start-up company.
  • Successfully litigated and settled various real estate partition actions involving multiple parties and estates of deceased owners, some culminating in the appointment of a Special Magistrate.
  • Negotiated, Drafted and closed multi-million-dollar asset-based loans for various South Florida companies.
  • Successfully closed multi-million-dollar refinance transactions in the midst of construction, including negotiation of loan documents.
  • Representation of both Lenders and Borrowers in various sophisticated real estate transactions, including blanket loans, construction loans, and other commercial financing.
